About IPTV Help

IPTV Help (iptvhelp.ca) is an English-language community for people in Canada who use IPTV or are thinking about it.

The site has four parts that work together: a forum, a provider directory with member-rated rankings, original guides, and automated systems that keep the ranking honest and up to date.

The forum

A place to ask questions and share experience: devices and apps, setup and troubleshooting, internet speed, sports and Canadian channels, and how to spot a scam. Members help members. Posts that share stream links, playlists or logins are not allowed (see the community guidelines).

Provider directory and rankings

Members review the IPTV providers they have used, with an overall rating and six sub-ratings such as stream stability and value for money. A public formula turns those reviews, plus a small measured-reliability component, into the IPTV Help Score and the rankings.

The rankings are independent of payment: the formula is the same for every provider, no provider can pay to change its rank, and nobody at IPTV Help can set a score by hand. Editors may pin a provider’s place on the list, and those places are always labelled “Editor’s pick”. A provider is ranked only once it has enough member reviews; until then its page says so instead of showing a number.

Guides

Original, hand-written setup and troubleshooting guides for common devices and apps, written in a neutral, factual tone. How they are written, checked and corrected is described in our editorial policy.

Automation

Automated systems do the repetitive work: they screen new posts and reviews, look for fake-review patterns, check provider websites every 5 minutes and recalculate the ranking. They never post as members and never change a rating. Moderation systems can only hold content for a person to review; only people remove content. Anything written with AI is labelled as AI-generated.

Who runs IPTV Help

IPTV Help is funded by its owner. We do not sell placement in rankings, reviews or guides. The operator’s legal name and mailing address will be published on our contact page before launch. Names and roles of staff and moderators will be listed here as people take on those roles.

What we don’t do

• We don’t host, sell or link to streams, playlists or channel feeds.
• We don’t publish fake reviews, ratings, testimonials, member accounts or activity counts.
• We don’t show “verified customer” badges, because we can’t verify purchases.
• We don’t assess whether a service is licensed or legal to use in Canada. Guides are general information, not legal advice.
