How the ranking is calculated
- 01
You rate. Overall stars plus stream stability, picture & sound, channels, setup, support and value. One review per member per provider.
- 02
Each review is weighted. Trust level, account age, recency (half-life 180 days), helpfulness votes and integrity checks. No single review can count more than 1.5.
- 03
Small samples are pulled to average. A Bayesian average stops two 5-star reviews from beating fifty honest ones.
- 04
Score = 90 % members + 10 % reliability. Reliability is what our automated checks measure on the provider’s public website. Ranks update every 15 minutes.
