Who we are
IPTV Help (iptvhelp.ca) is a community forum, provider directory and guide site about IPTV in Canada. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the operator of IPTV Help. The operator’s legal name and mailing address will be published here before launch.
IPTV Help is operated by the owner of IPTV services. Those services are excluded from all rankings, reviews and comparisons on this site. Scores are computed from customer reviews by a public formula that is the same for every provider; editor-chosen positions are labelled, and payment never changes a score or a position. See our disclosure.
Accepting these terms
By using IPTV Help you agree to these terms, our community guidelines and our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who can take part
You must be 18 or older to create an account, post, or submit a review or report. Reading the site requires no account.
Your account
- You sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email. We don’t use passwords.
- One person, one account. Don’t create extra accounts, share your account, or use someone else’s.
- Keep access to your email account secure, because it controls sign-in to IPTV Help.
- If you submit a review without signing in, we keep the name and email you give us so we can link your review to you, stop duplicate reviews and contact you about it. Your email is never shown publicly.
Content rules
Everything you post must follow the community guidelines. In particular, you must not post:
- stream links, playlists, login details, portal or MAC details, or any other way to access a service, or links to pirated content;
- spam, advertising, or offers to sell accounts, subscriptions or reseller panels;
- anyone’s personal information, or harassment, hate or threats;
- content you don’t have the right to post, or that is unlawful.
Reviews
- Reviews must describe your own, first-hand experience with the provider.
- One review per person per provider.
- You must disclose if you work for, own or resell any IPTV service. Undisclosed conflicts of interest, reviews written in exchange for something, and coordinated or multi-account reviewing are not allowed.
- Negative reviews and scam reports must include the specific details described in the guidelines, and must not state crimes as fact without evidence.
- Reviews feed the rankings through the public methodology. You agree not to try to manipulate any score or rank.
Your content and our licence to use it
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting on IPTV Help, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, reproduce, format and distribute your content as part of operating, improving and promoting IPTV Help. This includes showing your reviews in summaries and in the calculation of scores. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies that others have already quoted, that are kept in backups until they roll off, or that we must keep for legal reasons.
You are responsible for what you post. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Moderation and appeals
We may hold, edit (with a public note), move or remove content, and warn, silence, suspend or ban accounts, as described in the guidelines. Each action cites a public reason code. You can appeal a decision as explained there. We never remove a review because it is negative, because a provider asked, or because it suits the site owner.
Providers
A provider may request a right of reply. Once we confirm it controls its website domain, it may post one public response per review or scam report. Providers can’t remove, hide or edit reviews, and nothing a provider pays or says changes a score.
Rankings and information are general information
- Rankings, scores and summaries reflect what members reported, processed by a public formula. They are not a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of any service.
- Your experience may differ. Results depend on your internet connection, device, location and other factors.
- We don’t assess whether any IPTV service is licensed or legal to use. You are responsible for checking the rules that apply to you. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
- Guides are provided in good faith but may not match your device or software version.
Links to other sites
Links posted by members are marked as user content and are not endorsed by us. We are not responsible for other sites or for services you buy from third parties.
The owner’s service
If the site owner’s own IPTV service is offered on IPTV Help, it is offered in a separate, clearly labelled section. Any purchase from that service is governed by that service’s own terms, not these terms.
Our content
The site’s design, code, guides and other content we create belong to the operator or its licensors. You may link to our pages and quote short extracts with attribution. Please don’t copy whole guides or republish our rankings data in bulk without permission.
Copyright complaints
See our copyright and takedown page.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
IPTV Help is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or availability of the site or its content, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your use of any third-party service, including IPTV services discussed or ranked here. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.
Ending your use
You can stop using IPTV Help and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will give notice on the site, and members may be asked to accept the new terms the next time they sign in.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which the operator is based. The province will be stated here together with the operator’s legal name and mailing address.
