IPTV in Canada, briefly
IPTV means television delivered over an internet connection instead of cable or satellite. In Canada it comes in two forms: the TV services that large internet providers such as Bell and Telus run over their own networks, and independent subscription services that you watch through an app on a streaming stick, an Android TV box or a smart TV. Overall stars and a short comment, plus optional detail ratings for stability, picture, channels, setup, support and value. One review per person per provider.

Every review is screened for spam and fake patterns, provider websites are checked every 5 minutes, and the ranking recalculates automatically.

Is IPTV legal in Canada?
IPTV itself is just a way of delivering TV. What matters is whether a service holds the rights to what it streams, and Federal Court orders have required Canadian internet providers to block some unauthorized services. Read the guide
How are providers ranked?
From member reviews, using a public formula that weights star ratings and adds a small share for measured website reliability. It recalculates every 15 minutes; providers without reviews are listed by website speed until members rate them. How the score works
Can a provider pay to rank higher?
No. Payment never changes a score or a position. Places set by our editors are always labelled “Editor’s pick”, and staff reviews never count. Our disclosure

IPTV Help is operated by the owner of IPTV services. To keep the comparison fair, those services are excluded from all rankings, reviews and comparisons on this site. Details
What internet speed do I need?
As a rough guide, a Full HD stream uses about 5 to 8 Mbps and a 4K stream about 15 to 25 Mbps, per screen. Leave headroom and test at the time you usually watch. Speed guide
Do IPTV providers offer free trials?
Some do. Never give card details for a “free” trial, test during the evening and a live game, and start with the shortest plan. Buying safely
