Scam warnings protect other members, so we want them to be accurate and fair.

    A good warning includes:

    • The website address exactly as you saw it (look-alike domains are common)
    • What happened, in order, with dates
    • How you paid (card, PayPal, e-Transfer, crypto, gift card)
    • Evidence such as screenshots, with your personal details blacked out

Please don't post: your own or anyone else's personal information, threats, or guesses presented as facts. Stick to what happened to you.

If you lost money: contact your bank or card issuer right away, and report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Our scam red flags guide explains the warning signs and what to do next.

Moderators may hold warnings until the evidence is checked, and the business mentioned can reply.
